Advanced Safeguarding and Designated Safeguarding Lead
Our Advanced Safeguarding Course provides all the safeguarding information required by the person who is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). It examines how the role requires working at both leadership and day to day levels. The course advises on staff training, which includes staff understanding symptoms of child abuse, how to raise safeguarding concerns, monitoring children and record keeping. The course examines a number of Serious Case Reviews.
We maintain the validity of our courses, including changes to legislation, policies and procedures, by ensuring the training material is up to date.
