Health and Safety In The Workplace

Our Health And Safety Course provides information on how every employer and employee has a personal duty of care and explains the practical steps to ensure your own health and safety, along with that of your colleagues and customers. The course demonstrates common risks and hazards, together with good health and safety practices. The course includes five modules: Health and Safety, Fire Prevention, First Aid Awareness, Manual Handling and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).

We maintain the validity of our courses, including changes to legislation, policies and procedures, by ensuring the training material is up to date.

The Training

On completing the course, learners will:

  • Know basic principles in health and safety in the workplace and about the legal responsibilities
  • Understand the basic procedures and preventions to follow in fire safety
  • Acquire skills and knowledge to deal with first-aid situations in low-risk work environments
  • Be sufficiently trained in the basic principles and practices of manual handling
  • Develop knowledge on how to undertake a COSHH risk assessment, and improve awareness of the ill-health effects that hazardous substances can cause

Final Test

Once you have completed the online training, you will be able to take the final test.

  • There are 25 questions.
  • The pass rate is 80%.
  • You can take the test as many times as you need.
