Basic First Aid
Our Basic First Aid Course provides an understanding of basic first aid equipment and training on what to do if you are the first on the scene of an accident. The course will help you become confident in dealing with minor injuries, choking, bleeding control, identifying other injuries and CPR in adults and children.

The Training
On completing the course, learners will:
- Know basic principles in First Aid
- Understand the basic procedures to treat injuries and the prevention of infection
- Have the knowledge to deal with first-aid situations when at the scene of an accident
- Have sufficient information when faced with CPR on an adult, child or infant
- Acquire knowledge about the First Aid equipment which could be used
Final Test
Once you have completed the online training, you will be able to take the final test.
- There are 25 questions.
- The pass rate is 80%.
- You can take the test as many times as you need.
Duration
It takes approximately one hour to complete the entire course.
This course is certificated on its completion. The length of time you take is entirely dependent on how quickly you can study and absorb the information. Remember, it’s important to learn the content and not to rush through the course. Please do take notes during these courses.
Certification
This course is certified by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to the universally accepted Continuous Professional Development Guidelines. On successful completion, you can download and print your certificate from the learner management system.
