The Training

By the end of this course, learners should understand:

  • the definitions of physical intervention and physical restraint in early years 
  • how to manage physical restraint; the role of the practitioner 
  • the importance of policies and procedures 
  • corporal punishment is prohibited 
  • any physical contact should be at a minimum  

Final Test

Once you have completed the online training, you will be able to take the final test.

  • There are 5 questions.
  • The pass rate is 80%.
  • You can take the test as many times as you need.
